Message from EPP’s Chancellor
“Enrolling at EPP in Paris or Lyon, means choosing a course that prepares you to become a qualified psychologist within the unique setting of a private, non-profit institution of higher education. We are committed to providing students with tailored support throughout their academic journey, which offers graduates a gateway to the protected title of psychologist in France.
This challenging yet human-centred course is grounded in current psychological research and built firmly around professional practice, while granting particular importance to student well-being and to its growing international dimension.”

OUR CAMPUS

Paris campus
Located in the heart of Paris’ 6th arrondissement, just a stone’s throw from Montparnasse tower, the Paris campus offers a conducive setting to help students succeed.

Lyon Campus
Within walking distance of the Rhône river and Tête d’Or park, the Lyon campus also lies in the vicinity of local shops and student accommodation.

Our courses
At EPP we offer smaller, more close-knit class sizes compared to traditional university psychology departments, alongside tailored support for each and every one of our students. Training to become a psychologist takes five years. The first three years of the course form a core curriculum (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in psychology). Students develop a grounding in the different disciplines within psychology and gain work experience through internships. In the fourth year, students begin specialising, by choosing between two master’s level courses: ‘Clinical Psychology’ or ‘Social, occupational, organisational and health psychology’.
Students also have the option to complete a dedicated preparatory year – PrépaPsy – to help lay the groundwork for their studies.
Admissions
Every year, a competitive entrance exam is held to enrol on the first year of undergraduate studies. A separate admission process, based on the accreditation of prior learning, is also available for psychology students at other universities who wish to transfer to EPP directly into the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year. Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology can use this to apply to enrol on one of EPP’s two master’s level courses: Integrative clinical psychology and psychopathology or Social, occupational, organisational and health psychology. Applications for the admissions process should be completed online, on our website, by going to the admissions tab.
Finally, students who wish to complete the dedicated preparatory year – PrépaPsy – should go to the admissions tab and apply via the website’s specific admissions platform.
